1.3 Function Overview
      Mainly used for on-site experimental research on dam materials and riverbed cover layers, it can be used for soil consolidation tests and direct shear rheological tests. It can also be used to measure the friction coefficient between geotextile materials and between geotextile materials and soil.
      The machine adopts a micro computer electro hydraulic servo closed-loop measurement and control system, which can achieve constant velocity stress and  displacement control, and the control mode can be smoothly switched during the test process. The measurement control unit has been applied and improved for many years, with mature technology and reliable operation. During the experiment, data such as load, displacement, and deformation are automatically collected. The test curve is displayed in real-time by the computer and the processing and storage of the test data are automatically completed. The test report can be printed according to relevant standards.

2. Instrument structure
    It consists of six parts: load-bearing frame, shear box, vertical loading device, horizontal shear loading device, hydraulic system, computer control and data acquisition system.
    The main unit is equipped with a vertical pressurized door frame type reaction frame, and two hydraulic bidirectional oil cylinders (vertical pressurization and normal shearing) welded with 45 steel plates, which are environmentally friendly and durable, meeting the rigidity requirements.
    The gantry crane adopts an electric hoist and multiple pulley combinations to reduce the labor intensity of the test personnel during the testing of the sample.  When applying pressure, a ball seat and spoke sensor are matched, and the same method is used for vertical pressure and shear to ensure the accuracy of the output point and the consistency of the test data.
